Dear Sir I hope this mail finds you well; If you are interested, we have a UF Project with the following specification, Please reply to me if you ar I1. The project is about building a water treatment plant using UF membranes 2. The source of water is a three wells (Mixed of three wells) 3. Total Capacity of the feed water is 110m3/hr 4. The plant will be divided into two identical plants (each with capacity of 55m3/hr). 5. The plant must be able to treat a raw water having following characteristics: § Fluctuated turbidity that could be reached to 20 NTU § E-Coli that could be reached to 20,000 cell/100ml § Other constituents as table below 6. The treated water must have results as below: § Turbidity not more than 1 NTU § E-Coli less than 1.8 cell/100 ml (Most Probable Number), Without Chlorination § Other constituents follows international standards for drinkable water 7. Any Pre-Treatment needed must be recommended by membrane manufacturers 8. UF membranes and system specifications are as below: § Capillary type membranes § Filtration: outside to inside § Filtration mode: Dead end and cross flow § Backwash: a) With product water b) Inside to outside c) Enhanced with air scour outside d) Backwash should be automatic § Flux as recommended by the manufacturer § Membrane material: PVDF (Polyvinylidene Fluoride) § Pressurized system and skid mounted § Modules installed vertically § Recovery: not less than 90% @ 20 NTU Recovery = (Net permeate in 24 hours/Raw water fed in 24 hours) * 100% (NOTE: Net permeate flow = Gross permeate flow - Volume of filtrate required for backwash operation) § Pretreatment should include stainless steel strainer (100-150 Um), or what the manufacturer recommends § System design should include CIP unit with all needed piping, fittings, chemical tank and 316 SS pump and heater & thermostat for heat control § System design should include Integrity Test and Bubble Test units with all needed pipes, fittings and instruments § System design should include automatic CEB system (if it is advised by membrane supplier) § UF modules should be ANSI/NSF standard 61 certified § The designer must fill the attached tables as regard the two cases a) Turbidity of 20 NTU b) Turbidity of less than 5 NTU 9.
